Delivery

We process and dispatch orders within 1-2 working days from our fulfilment partners in The Netherlands. We do not process and dispatch orders on Saturdays and Sundays. The working week for our warehouse is Monday - Friday.  All orders ship from The Netherlands. 

Due to increases in seasonal demand and factors beyond our control, there may be occasional times when longer delivery times occur. Please note that additional delays may occur with our shipping partners due to operational delays outside of our control. 

WE OFFER FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING FOR ORDERS OVER £200 - We will select the lowest cost of shipping from our delivery partners (DPD, UPS, FEDEX, POST NL, DHL).

Shipping to UK, MAINLAND:

Fedex International Standard -  £8.00 (2-5 days)

Customs and import duties for 'UK' deliveries:

Young children's clothing in the UK is currently 0% VAT rated. Customs may charge duty clearance  on your order while applying 0% VAT. Orders under £135 are not subject to customs and duties clearance. If you have any doubts please contact us on hello@main-story.com 

Recipients are responsible for any charges.  We can support and assist UK residents where VAT may be incorrectly charged. If you ship to a forwarding company in the UK, and are not a UK resident, then please use the forwarder to assist with any customs and duties enquiries/ issues. 

Shipping to EUROPE:

The Netherlands - £5.00 ( 1-3 days ) - using Post NL/ DHL

Rest of Europe - £10.00 ( 2-5 days ) - UPS/ Fedex/ DHL/ DPD

REST OF WORLD:

UPS/ Fedex - £25.00 (3-8 days)

Customs and import duties for 'REST OF WORLD' deliveries: 
Please note that customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; if you require further information regarding this, we advise that you contact your local customs office for further information.

For customers based in the USA please note that our orders ship from The Netherlands and so customs and duties will be charged at the EU rate. Please check with your local customs office if you require any further information. 

USA Orders: As a result of recent U.S. Customs regulatory updates, from April 21st 2025, and until further notice, your order cannot be above USD 790

Please note: 
If a customer refuses delivery of their parcel, or if they fail to facilitate the delivery due to their absence to accept delivery or failure to communicate with the shipping company for clearance procedure, and the parcel is returned to us by the shipping company then any costs that we encounter will be deducted from the amount that will/may be refunded. Parcels returned to our warehouse will be processed and refunded after 14 days - this is to allow us to calculate all customs and import duty charges that will be placed on the parcel for its return back into The Netherlands. 

Requests to change orders - Please note that once orders are placed we cannot combine multiple orders into one shipment. Our warehouse works on each individual order number.
